First Congress
of the Francophone
Association
of Dynervologie

Editorial

Dynervology, a discipline dedicated to the study of dynamic nerve compressions, remains insufficiently recognized today despite its major clinical impact. These conditions are too often responsible for prolonged diagnostic wandering for patients.

Affected individuals suffer from neuropathic pain, sensory disturbances, muscle weakness, and sometimes a severe impairment of their quality of life. Faced with these complex clinical presentations, it has become essential to rethink how we understand, examine, and manage the peripheral nervous system.

It is in this spirit that the first Dynerva Congress 2026 was created in Nîmes, open to all concerned healthcare professionals: physicians, surgeons, physiotherapists, and osteopaths.

The objectives of this inaugural edition are ambitious:

  • to bring together a panel of recognized experts,

  • to establish the fundamental principles of dynervology,

  • and above all, to introduce a new clinical approach to patient examination, focused on neural dynamics.

This congress will also provide an opportunity to present innovative therapeutic approaches—both manual and surgical—illustrating a comprehensive, cross-disciplinary care strategy tailored to each patient.

We will have the honor of welcoming a panel of leading French experts, as well as the immense privilege of hosting two world-renowned authorities in the field: Elisabet Hagert and Alison Taylor.

Beyond its scientific content, this congress is intended as a forum for exchange, sharing, and collective reflection, combining plenary sessions with practical workshops, all within a friendly atmosphere conducive to networking and the emergence of new collaborations.

We hope that this event will serve as a foundational milestone, initiating a sustainable dynamic of exchange, bringing together a community, and supporting the long-term development of dynervology in the service of our patients.
